Surrounded by over 25 hectares of vineyards and immersed in nature, this is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of cities and traditional tourist spots. Bodegas Mas Igneus is an authentic and innovative project that invites you to discover its unique charm. Don’t wait—this hidden gem is ready to welcome you with open arms.
The concept of crafting the first organic wine in Priorat was born in the hills of Poboleda in 1997. This renowned wine-growing region, celebrated worldwide for its exceptional quality and breathtaking landscapes, offers visitors a stunning panorama that transforms with the seasons, leaving an indelible impression. At Bodegas Mas Igneus—featured in the España Discovery 2025 guide—the aroma, texture, and body of each wine variety come together in a perfect harmony, embodying a deep respect for tradition, the land, and the art of winemaking through sustainable practices that align with the environment. This dedication has earned the wines from these cellars the prestigious Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Priorat, a testament to their excellence and commitment to quality.
The building, designed by architect Alfons Soldevila i Barbosa in 2004, underwent a name change in 2020, transitioning from "Igneus" to "Mas Igneus." It’s worth highlighting that all the vineyards—Costers de l’Ermita, Finca Comellars, El Maset del Boixó, and Finca la Salanca—are certified organic by the CCPAE (*Consell Català de la Producció Agrària Ecològica*). Here, a diverse range of grape varieties are cultivated, including Garnacha Tinta, Garnacha Blanca, Cariñena, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot.
Would you like to experience the unique blend of *M* by Mas Igneus? This exceptional wine is crafted from a combination of French grape varieties and a third of local grapes, offering a harmonious fusion of flavors that reflects the essence of Priorat.
