The altitude here makes a big difference. Cooler temperatures and strong contrasts between day and night help the grapes grow with more character. The vines dig deep into poor, rocky soil, and that hard work gives the wines their unique freshness, balance, and personality.
The family behind Terra d’Art works the land by hand, in small quantities, with true dedication. Their wines reflect the soul of the valley — and include some rare grape varieties that are perfectly suited to this special terroir. Every bottle tells a story.
A perfect stop for motorhome travelers
If you’re traveling by motorhome and part of the España Discovery network, Terra d’Art is a must-visit. You’re welcome to spend the night among the vines and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The winery also offers free wifi — just remember to contact them in advance to get the access code, and of course, buy some wine as a thank-you!
Guided tours of the winery are available on Saturdays and Sundays, but you can buy wine and meet the family any day of the week — as long as you come before 2:00 p.m. on weekdays. The welcome is warm and personal, and you’ll feel right at home.
To access the motorhome parking, don’t forget to show your España Discovery guide or digital ID. There’s also a motorhome service area nearby, with waste disposal and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Best way to get there?
We recommend taking the scenic, winding route through Villar del Arzobispo, then heading toward La Yesa and Ahillas. It’s a beautiful drive with lovely views. If you come through Chelva, be prepared — the road is much steeper and has sharper curves, which can be a bit overwhelming, especially if you’re driving a large motorhome.
Terra d’Art isn’t just a winery — it’s a true experience. A place where wine, people, and nature come together in harmony. Will you come and discover it?
