Finca Collado is located in the Alto Vinalopó region, in the northwest of the province of Alicante, in the province of Valencia. This winery is full of surprises for motorhomers from all over Europe, where they can find a series of activities linked to wine tourism and learn about the family history of the owners of the winery related to the wine culture of Alicante, the municipality of Salinas and Spain.

The Finca Collado winery was founded in 2003 but was reinvented in 2008 by Joan Guía and Samuel Castelló.

This premium stop on the España Discovery guide has dedicated itself to developing its own vintage model and making unique wines from grapes well adapted to the Mediterranean climate and integrated into the Alicante Appelation.

Joan Guía, oenologist in charge of the winery, together with Samuel Castelló, businessman, business development manager and son of the owners, wanted to discover the region's winemaking history from the very beginning of the project. To do so, they started by planting indigenous varieties. They also started to rehabilitate old and forgotten vineyards. It has been hard work that has taken time and effort. In fact, both professionals continue with this mission, an example of which is the cultivation of the ‘Garnacha Blanca’, a grape variety that is almost extinct in the province of Alicante.
