A Stop Among Lavender and Aloe: Finca Las Coronas, an España Discovery Experience

An Authentic Stopover in Carmona, Andalusia

In the heart of the Sevillian countryside, just minutes from the historic center of Carmona, lies Finca Las Coronas: a family-run estate dedicated to the organic cultivation of aloe vera and lavender. This stop, officially included in the España Discovery network, is much more than a place to spend the night—it's a sensory experience.

A Farm That Cultivates Nature and Calm

Once used for conventional large-scale farming, this estate has been lovingly transformed into a diverse and sustainable ecosystem. Rows of organic aloe vera and lavender now share the land with paulownia trees, eucalyptus, and blooming sunflowers, creating a vibrant landscape full of life and fragrance.

At the heart of the finca is a small-scale artisan workshop, where visitors can discover locally crafted products such as gels, creams, oils, liqueurs, and jams. These can be explored during a guided tour or simply appreciated during a sunset stop—especially between May and July, when the lavender fields are in full bloom and the estate becomes a picture-perfect scene.

España Discovery: Authorized Overnight Stop

As a stopover in the España Discovery guide, Finca Las Coronas offers motorhome travelers the opportunity to stay overnight for free for up to 24 hours. You just need to show your printed guide or official Digital ID.

No prior notice is required unless the estate explicitly requests it. However, it is always recommended that travelers try to notify the hosts in advance—especially if they wish to book a guided visit or other activities.

Keep in mind, though, that not all hosts are able to respond quickly. Due to work obligations or language barriers, they may not always have the time or means to reply to emails or WhatsApp messages. In those cases, feel free to arrive during daytime hours without prior notice, showing your España Discovery guide on arrival or your Digital ID.

Please note this is not a campsite or service area. It’s a private agricultural setting, where respect, discretion, and genuine interest in supporting local products are always appreciated.

A Stop with True Identity

This location is ideal for travelers exploring Andalusia on the road—midway between Seville and Córdoba, right by the historic town of Carmona. From the finca, you can visit the Roman necropolis, amphitheater, the Alcázar del Rey Don Pedro, and enjoy local gastronomy in centuries-old taverns.

But what makes Las Coronas truly special isn’t just its location or its products—it’s the atmosphere. The silence among medicinal plants. The hospitality of those who work the land. The slow rhythm of a place that can’t be experienced in a rush.

Finca Las Coronas is a perfect example of the España Discovery spirit: responsible overnight stays, connection with the rural world, and experiences rooted in authenticity. It’s a place you arrive at in a motorhome—but leave feeling lighter, more aware, and more connected to what really matters.
