The Fédération Européenne de la Formule Invitations (FEFI) is an organization formed by 10 European publishers who have taken it upon themselves to collect and publish information about the best optional routes (in 10 countries) for motorhome tourists. FEFI wants to show you how easy and convenient it is to travel this way, inviting you to live these friendly, safe experiences and showing you the culinary diversity of the involved countries.
The aim of FEFI is clear: Promoting sustainable tourism that rescues local tradition and supports rural farmers that have much to offer. The organization that pioneered this travelling method was France Passion, in the year 1993, the scheme that invites motorhome tourists from all over the continent to explore the beating heart of the most authentic France, park their campers in rural environments such as rural houses, farms, olive oil mills, wine cellars and cheesemakers and experience the hospitality of their hosts and taste their products.
Besides, most of these stopovers are surrounded by vast natural wealth that guarantees travellers an unforgettable experience and rest.
The scheme of “Formula Invitaciones” is the key to unlock the treasures of European rural life. It means tourists can spend time in exclusive stopovers with privacy and safety, knowing local producers while enjoying rural life, parking their motorhomes for up to 24 hours by showing the corresponding identification (such as the 2023 España Discovery guide) and buying unique food, or wine tastes, tours or happy hours (aceite artajo) to consume, gift or contribute to the local circular economy. This is the way to thank your hosts for their warmth.
